I don’t know what it is about those 3 rounds of warm-ups but every single time I get to “high knees” I want to shoot Shaun T in the face. I end up doing something that might resemble high-knee-marching-in-place slooooooowwwwwwwly. I’m still trying to lift my legs up high using my core, but at a rapid pace? Hell no! The weirdest part is that the only time my body is willing to do the high knees is in the 3rd round. My mental process is ridiculous. I make my body do it because I’m thinking…it’s almost over!
So now I have a new goal during the Insanity program- 3 rounds of high knees! And no replacing butt kicks with high knees! When I’ve done 3 rounds of high knees I know I’ve accomplished something great.
